International competitor monitoring: global airline

Ongoing monitor of competitor frequent flyer programmes for a global airline.  Frequent flyer programmes are an important tool in the attraction and retention of high yielding frequent business travellers.  The Relationship Marketing department of this major airline had no means of understanding how their own programme compared to those of the competition.  The output from this project provided input into numerous decisions that were taken about the frequent flyer programme over the three years that it was running.  This included a major re-launch of the client’s own programme and input into negotiations with alliance partners.
