Competition within the premium space is growing and diversifying.  The client, an international payment card company, required in-depth competitive intelligence on premium players in the card, travel and lifestyle space across 6 key- (UK, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada & Mexico) and three secondary (France, Hong Kong & Singapore) countries.  The payment card company needed to understand how its current offer compared to that of the competition, both in terms of benefits and how these are communicated.  The study not only provided our client with a detailed appreciation of its current competitive position, but also identified gaps, white space and future opportunities, as well as developed a guide to ‘best practice’ for each country under review.
